“The point isn’t to get to the end of the journey—that’s not what meditation is. Rather, it’s to be right here where you are.” – Jack Kornfield

Dear friends,

As the snow melts in the Northern Hemisphere and we take our first steps into spring and nature’s renewal, I felt it beneficial to share my instructions for walking meditation in this video from Spirit Rock, Step Into Presence

Walking meditation is an opportunity for us to step out of the thinking mind and into the rhythm of the body. In a world where we are caught in our screens and thoughts, walking meditation is a way to bring mindfulness into motion, to ground yourself in the simple act of each step.

In this gentle guide, I share the sacred art of walking with awareness—learning to center yourself, embrace stillness in embodied motion, and find presence in every step. No matter where you may be, outside or indoors, the practice of walking meditation invites you to move through the world with clarity and ease.

May this practice be of benefit to you and all those you meet as you walk along your journey.

With metta,
Jack
